Virtual Member Connect & Coffee

Description

Member Connect & Coffees are held every other month to both connect members as well as welcome those who've recently joined the Manteno Chamber of Commerce.

This session will be an open discussion so that you can connect with other businesses.  We hope this will be a way to share and support one another.  Please join us!

All attendees will receive a complimentary e-gift card for an amazing cup of ReCharge Coffee following the session.

I really appreciate and enjoy the "Connect & Coffee" talks because after the hardships faced last year, I think it is extremely important to talk to other local businesses to see what they had to deal with, and how they overcame. I believe that the last year has made many understand the importance of community, and that starts with local leaders and business owners getting together to make sure that not only we are all on the same page, but that we are there for one another. I enjoyed hearing how the various businesses are doing. Because of all the media coverage we tend to hear the same narrative over and over, when in reality Covid had many different effects on local businesses.

I really enjoyed this morning's networking event. I was able to reconnect with a few people I hadn't seen in a while due to the pandemic, and I learned about some businesses that I didn't know existed. This event gave me the opportunity to feel more connected to the Manteno community and I was able to share information about my work at the Community Foundation. I look forward to attending more of these events in  the future.
